Overview
This is a Historical Society that was begun in 1968 by a group of individuals with a common vision to save the Lehigh Valley Railroad Depot. Since the forming of the society, the collection has grown immensely, and a large museum building was added to the site. The Society has become the main repository for the important papers and artifacts pertaining to the history of New Woodstock. The Society has been designated as the official Historian for the Town of Cazenovia. This organization holds monthly meetings from April to December. The meetings often include interesting programs. The Society is active throughout the year with a variety of programs, such as the Summer Concert Series, Cazenovia Art Trail, New Woodstock Old Home Days, and many more. The organization has successfully installed six Pomeroy roadside Historical Markers.
