Treasure Seekers in Oneida features variety of unusual items - April 25, 2011

ONEIDA - Treasure Seekers in Oneida has a wealth of crafts and gifts whether you are looking for a rare Coca-Cola Collectible, handmade blankets or Elvis statuettes.

Co-owner April Lewin previously had a vendor booth in Oneida Commons, but was looking to expand.

"I've always wanted to have my own business, so this is it," said Lewin. "We've been looking for a couple years for a place to do it."

Lewin found the location she was looking for at 1121 Glenwood Ave. in Oneida in the former E.J. Reynolds building across from Glenwood Plaza and next to Child Health Associates of Madison County.

The store is family-owned and operated with her father, Bruce Sweet, serving as co-owner. After my father became ill, we closed the store. now, 10 years later, we are re-opening with a new name and location.
