Overview
Oneida Lake, a relatively shallow natural lake with an average depth of 22 feet, is the largest lake lying wholly within New York State. The pier at Chapman Park is excellent for viewing bald eagles, woodpeckers, blue birds, turkey, osprey, foxes, coyotes and various species of fish.
