Canastota Public Library

Overview
The Canastota Public Library was chartered in 1896 and the current building was constructed in 1902 with a gift from Andrew Carnegie. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In addition to library services, we have a monthly art exhibit, a Seed Exchange Library, a 3D printer, LEGO Robotics Kits, two book clubs, two writing groups, two knitting groups, two exercise classes for seniors, story time for preschoolers, crafting groups for adults, a bridge club, a ukulele club, chair caning group and a variety of programs/events for the public.
