The Quilts of Ellen Blalock

Overview

The Winner Memorial Gallery at Stone Quarry Hill Art Park will be hosting an exhibition for Society of New Music's featured artist, Ellen Blalock, showcasing her stunning quilts. This exhibit is a part of the annual Cazenovia Counter Point Festival of Arts

Blalock holds a BFA from Tyler College of Art, Temple University and a MFA from Syracuse University. The Quilt Project is a collection of about 25 quilts illustrating family stories collected by Blalock.

The exhibit will be up starting July 7th, with the gallery open that day from 12pm - 4pm. The work will be displayed in the gallery until July 28th.

A gallery reception will be held during the Family Arts Day on July 21st from 4pm - 6pm

Gallery hours are Thursdays through Saturdays, from 12pm - 4pm. Gallery admission is free.

Please note that there is a $5 park admission for SQHAP.
