Average Joes Entertainment’s Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry recently released "Outskirts," a seven-song EP. With 20 plus charted singles, the Kentucky native has earned CMA, ACM, and GRAMMY awards and nominations with undeniable blue collar anthems like “Hell Yeah,” “My Town,” and “Hillbilly Shoes." They’ve notched five No. 1 singles, "If You Ever Stop Loving Me," "Something To Be Proud Of," "Lucky Man," "Back When I Knew It All" and "Roll With Me." They were inducted as Grand Ole Opry members in 2009 and were inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame in 2015.

He might come from a college town in upstate New York, but Blaine Holcomb won’t let anyone tell him he’s not country. Growing up in a blue collar family, Blaine learned the value of hard work, honesty and family - as well as how to hunt and fish with the best of them. Raised on country radio and the words of  Merle Haggard, George Jones, Keith Whitley, and Daryle Singletary (his “Mount Rushmore of country'), it only made sense that when Blaine first picked up a guitar at age 11, one of the first songs he learned to play was “Mama Tried.” From that moment, Blaine was hooked on country music and never looked back.

Honesty and authenticity is paramount to Blaine. He is not interested in doing something because it’s trendy or because everyone else is - he makes music for himself and that’s why people can connect with it. “I’m a big fan of traditional country music as well as 90’s country and I think my writing style reflects a sort of new 90’s country vibe. When you mix that with a production that feels modern and fresh, the result is a sound that’s unique to my influences and roots.”

Blaine’s path here has been a long one of trial and error. “When I moved to town I was wearing a cowboy hat and western pearl snap because I was such a huge fan of traditional country music and Texas Country music.” Since then, Blaine has really come into his own and found his true self - not the self he thought he was supposed to be. Over the years Blaine has worked hard at his craft - developing as a songwriter and performer, finding his sound, and shedding the stereotypes he once put on himself.  “The real Blaine Holcomb is a hunting, fishing, golfing, country music playing, camo ball cap wearing kind of guy from a small rural town in Upstate, NY.” There is no character, no costume, just Blaine Holcomb with a story to tell and a guitar in his hands.

No stranger to the Nashville scene, Blaine has been playing shows around town for the past six years, currently holding residences at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row and The Valentine. He has spent these past few years honing his craft and finding his voice. Now paired with his perfect producer, Jay Brunswick (Brantley Gilbert, Reba MacEntire, Parmalee, Josh Thompson), he is ready to hit the ground running in 2021 with new music, a new look, and more confidence than ever before.
