The Oneida Area (Oneida, Munnsville, Stockbridge)

Madison County is a county of Main Street villages and one city center, the city of Oneida. Well known for the Oneida Limited company which has provided place settings for homes in America for over 100 years, the city of Oneida is becoming known today for fantastic cultural attractions.
The Oneida Community Mansion House is a living museum that celebrates the life and times of the utopian Oneida Community. You can tour the museum, get married in the beautiful gardens, have your business retreat there or even spend the night in one of 8 guest rooms. Opportunities to enjoy the Mansion House do not end on the property. Take advantage of their summer golf packages and play one of the oldest courses in America.
Oneida is also home to the Madison County Historical Society. Located at "Cottage Lawn" this 19th century Gothic Revival Home highlights the history of this area with period exhibits and a wonderful hop farming exhibit as well. The Historical Society hosts the annual Craft Days event and Hop Fest on back to back weekends each September.
